Squats with Barbell

Squats with barbell1.    Stand up straight with knees slightly bent, feet about shoulder-width apart, toes and knees facing forward at all times. Place barbell high behind your shoulders with your hands grasping the bar comfortably to the sides of your shoulders.
2.    Lower your body, bending your knees and hips, until your thighs are about parallel to the floor.
3.    Return to the start position.
4.    Throughout the exercise, keep head forward, feet flat on floor, back straight, and maintain even distribution of your weight across your foot (between toe and heel).
